The Orchestra

The OSV is a symphony orchestra composed of young musicians aged 14 to 25. Coming from different regional and national institutions, they all aim for a very high instrumental level as amateurs or future professionals. This diversity allows the orchestra to be dynamic and full of energy. By bringing to the French-speaking Swiss music scene an orchestra designed entirely by and for young people, the OSV pursues the goal of promoting classical music to everyone and breaking down the prejudices attached to it. Our goal is to offer a vision of music combining freshness, modernity and quality. Under the baton of Gabriel Pernet, we regularly present ambitious programs, between great classics and discoveries.
